A specialty-grade, single-origin coffee from a small family in San Pedro, Nicaragua. The Ruíz family grows their coffee alongside plantains, citrus, and shade trees, hand-selecting only the best beans. Through the Social Community Enterprise of San Juan del Rio Coco—supported by the Winds of Peace Foundation—last year’s harvest generated over $12,000 in profits, funding both family incomes and community projects like providing dental care supplies for children.
We’re roasting this one to a medium profile, with smooth notes of milk chocolate, almond, and baking spices. A coffee rooted in care, quality, and community.
