Over 600,000 smallholder farmers work through cooperatives that oversee traceability and quality, ensuring each lot meets the country’s exacting standards.
Named after a peak of Mount Kenya, Lenana AB Plus combines the prized cultivars SL-28, SL-34, and Ruiru-11, grown in rich volcanic soils at 1,500–1,700 masl. Handpicked cherries undergo the traditional washed process, where careful fermentation, sorting, and sun-drying on raised beds create a clean, structured cup.
We roast this coffee to highlight its vibrant profile: bright acidity, full body, and layered flavors of red fruit, citrus, and subtle floral notes. A shining example of why Kenyan coffees remain some of the most sought after in the world.
